Shine with Experior: Stride & Ride

Join Experior Financial Group Inc. for our first Shine with Experior event, Stride & Ride!

From September 15 to 21, we will collectively walk, run or ride the distance from coast to coast across Canada – 5,514 km – in support of Shine Foundation! All proceeds raised will help Shine provide life-changing opportunities for young people living with severe physical disabilities that will help them gain confidence, experience equity, diversity and inclusion, and have a brighter future outlook.

To register for Stride & Ride:

1. Click the “Register” tab on the toolbar above, create an account and complete the registration form. Registration is free!
2. In the Participant Centre, link your Google Fitness, FitBit or Strava account and update your fundraising page to include a personal note about why you’re participating in Stride & Ride. Please note, your fitness account cannot be connected until the event begins on September 15.
3. Share your fundraising page with your friends, families and network to let them know you’re walking, running or riding this week in support of Shine.
4. Get active! Start moving to help us reach our goal of walking, running and riding across Canada. Don’t forget to track your movements by using one of the fitness apps listed in step 2.
5. Join us on social media and share photos of yourself and/or your team completing your kilometers this week by using the hashtag #ShinewithExperior

There are over 63,000 children in Canada who currently qualify for Shine’s programming, making the need greater than ever before. Many of the young people Shine serves face significant barriers and health challenges and are often not eligible for programs from other organizations. It is imperative that, now, during their most critical stage of development, they see their futures as ones full of opportunities and possibilities, rather than ones of ongoing barriers and challenges.
